POSITION SUMMARY

Job Summary

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Housekeeping Manager to maintain and monitor a high level of cleanliness in guest rooms whilst working within the pre-established standards of operation. 

 

The successful candidate’s main responsibilities will include but are not limited to :

·  Overseeing room attendants in their daily duties, ensuring all standards are followed at all times
·  Respond to special guest requests in a timely, professional and efficient manner;
·  Conducting Daily pre-shift meetings and inspecting associates as they are working, giving guidance to ensure that deficiencies are corrected
·  Lead, train and supervise Room Attendants and other team members to ensure their performance is to the standards required
·  Allocating room assignments to the Housekeeping team
·  Inspecting rooms to ensure they are ready in time for guests arrival

Furthermore, the ideal candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and skills:

·  Fluency in English;
·  Preferably one to two years previous housekeeping experience in a hotel of similar size;
·  Ability to work under pressure;
·  A can-do attitude with a very good eye for detail  
·  Able to work shift duties, including evenings, weekends, and / or holidays
·  Preferably familiar with Opera
