The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeping Manager to oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping department. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment during their stay. As the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring that they are trained, motivated, and equipped to provide exceptional service. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, managing budgets, and ensuring that all housekeeping equipment is in good working order
Skills:
As the Housekeeping Manager, you will utilize your excellent organizational and time management skills to ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained. You will also use your strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage and motivate a team of housekeeping staff. Knowledge of housekeeping equipment and cleaning techniques will be essential in this role. Additionally, a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field, experience working in a hotel or resort environment, and certification in housekeeping management or related field would be beneficial.
Minimum Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Housekeeping Manager or similar role
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage and motivate a team of housekeeping staff
Knowledge of housekeeping equipment and cleaning techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
Experience working in a hotel or resort environment
Certification in housekeeping management or related field
Bilingual in Spanish
Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise the daily operations of the housekeeping department
Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained
Train and motivate housekeeping staff to provide exceptional service
Maintain inventory levels and manage budgets
Ensure that all housekeeping equipment is in good working order
