Job Requirement:

Working as a key member of the marketing team, the Graphic Designer is responsible for creating design solutions with high visual impact.  This position is required to work across a variety of products, including print and digital advertising, promotion and marketing as well as signage, corporate identity, exhibitions and packaging, videography, photography and animation.

 

The Graphic Designer must be comfortable working within the St. Regis guidelines while also able to creatively step outside the box to develop creative, engaging work for the hotel’s restaurants, bars, spa and beach club as needed and as per brief.

 

Ultimately, the work of the Graphic Designer must help position the hotel and its facilities within the community as well as internationally to enable greater brand awareness, footfall and revenue.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
·  Meet with marketing and various business units to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job
·  Interpret the business needs/brief and develop concepts to suit their purpose 
·  Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
·  Present finalized ideas and concepts to the marketing team and key departments
·  Skilled in the use of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Animation, Premier Pro, Video editing and Flash, Canva Pro, and able to work with a wide range of media
·  Develop high-quality creative advertising, HTMLs, digital banners, internal and external newsletters, brochures, packaging, display artworks, presentations etc
·  Contribute ideas and design artwork for new hotel/restaurant concepts
·  Check, amend and compile content text for ads, sales material, HTMLs etc
·  Social Media knowledge and handle if required 
·  Work as part of a team with marketing, printer suppliers, copywriters, photographers and stylists
·  Update websites and online platforms as required
·  Assist the Marketing team to develop, implement, monitor and evaluate the hotel’s marketing communications strategy, including advertising, promotions, public relations, graphics and collateral, so as to support the marketing objectives for the hotel and maximize the hotel’s positive exposure in local, national and international markets
·  Perform all duties efficiently and in accordance with established hotel policies
·  Follow technology trends and stay informed on new ideas 
·  Creative personality 

 
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must be proficient in writing, speaking and negotiating in English. One additional language preferred.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS Education

Graphic design qualification  
Experience:
·  Must have at least 3 years’ experience in graphic design and videography/photography 
·  Experience within an agency, luxury hospitality or luxury industry would be an advantage

 
Grooming:

All employees must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance as per St. Regis Abu Dhabi standards.
