Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, IPH Management Company, LLC. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional service and operational excellence in a casual dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food production and safety standards. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our restaurant runs smoothly while providing an enjoyable experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
· Oversee daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high standards of food quality and customer service.
· Manage staff scheduling and shift management to optimize workforce efficiency.
· Conduct interviews and hire new team members, fostering a positive work environment.
· Train and mentor staff on hospitality best practices, food safety protocols, and operational procedures.
· Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production.
· Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and drive repeat business.
· Maintain compliance with health regulations and safety standards within the kitchen and dining areas.
· Collaborate with upper management to develop budgets, forecasts, and performance reports.
· Relaunch our lobby Cafe.
· Work closely with ownership and the Director of Engineering to develop and execute capital projects.
· Ensure 100% compliance for our MGS trainings and BSA audited brand standards.
Skills
· Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and motivation.

· Proficient in shift management to ensure optimal staffing levels during peak hours.
· In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety practices, and casual dining trends.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
· Exceptional communication skills to interact positively with both staff and customers.
· A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution within the Engineering team.
