Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Apsilon Hotels LLC. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc.  The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment.  If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Guest satisfaction: Ensuring guests are happy with their stay and addressing any concerns. Respond to guest reviews. 
·  Staff management: Hiring, training, and retaining staff, and empowering them to provide excellent service 
·  Financial management: Managing the hotel's finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and planning. To facilitate the achievement of meeting or beating GOP (Gross Operating Profit) goals by providing leadership, direction and follow-up strategies. Submit end-of-month reports. 
·  Hotel operations: Overseeing all hotel departments, including guest services, food and beverage, and sales 
·  Hotel promotion: Acting as a brand ambassador for the hotel and promoting it to the target market 
·  Health and safety: Ensuring the hotel complies with health and safety regulations 
·  Technology: Using technology to improve guest experiences and streamline operations 
·  Forecasting: Using demand and supply predictions to make decisions about pricing, promotions, and more
·  Asset management by implementing preventive maintenance and loss prevention measures. Ensure passing grades for Quality Assurance Audits. Ensure a safe, secure environment for our guests and team members.
·  STAR Analysis on a weekly and monthly basis and provide feedback during weekly revenue meetings. Assist the Revenue Manager in data analysis, strategy, and reporting to identify current and future revenue opportunities

Eligible for annual bonus of $25k
Position leads all facets of hotel management including but not limited to Guest Satisfaction, Employee Staffing & Development, Sales & Marketing, Revenue Maximization
Applicants must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in hotels. TownePlace Suites or Marriott experience is a Plus. Airport experience is a Plus.

 

Qualifications:

·  Computer competency required–basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to learn new technology and applications
·  Must be a curious minded, critical thinker and have strong attention to detail–analytical and project management skills are required
·  Must be a problem solver and be adaptable to change
·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to work closely with the Leadership team
·  Comfort and confidence in presenting via phone, email and in person to ownership and asset managers
·  Must have strong leadership skills and be an enthusiastic team player
·  Excellent listening skills
·  Aggressive, self-motivated work habits–must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

 

Pay range is from $55k to $65k with bonus eligibility of up to $25k.
