Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee, Westin. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International, Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotel’s employment policies and practices, including hiring, firing, discipline, staffing, compensation, benefits, and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel, you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International, Inc.
Job Summary:
1. Drawing up the annual budget plan together with the directorate, reviewing it every six months in order to set targets for the unit;
2. Monitoring the unit's operations and financial results in order to ensure that activities are aligned with the company's strategic planning, identifying and proposing adjustments and improvements in order to exceed the targets set;
3. Plan, develop and approve improvement projects, plans and programs by identifying needs and sources of resources, outlining implementation strategies and assessing their viability in order to improve the services provided to clients;
4. Monitoring area performance indicators by analyzing management reports and holding meetings with unit leaders, with a view to achieving previously defined targets, as well as defining corrective and preventive actions;
5. Conduct daily meetings with managers and bosses, aligning expectations for the day, analyzing and monitoring occurrences and sales from the previous day, checking the results report and analyzing income and expenses, in order to monitor all the unit's operations and identify any risk situations;
6. Monitoring the hotel market, studying the competition and new developments in order to keep the unit up to date and competitive;
7. Managing the team, monitoring performance and guiding employees, in order to stimulate commitment, motivation and commitment to the quality of the work carried out, striving for customer satisfaction;
8. Planning monthly meetings with employees, presenting results, targets, hirings and promotions, calculation of hotel points and other information, in order to update and align the entire team;
9. Analyzing and approving purchase requests in order to control the unit's costs and ensure continuity of operations;
10. Analyzing reports from all areas in order to monitor the unit's results and define action plans, reporting back to the head office;
11. Monitoring the service provided to major clients, ensuring that quality and differentiated services are provided, striving for their satisfaction and loyalty;
12. Being responsible for legal issues and monitoring the unit's labor processes, ensuring compliance with the unit's legal obligations;
13. Responsible for the unit's relationship with the press, looking after the hotel's image and name.
14. Monitoring customer satisfaction rates in order to take the appropriate action, dealing with highly serious complaints personally;
15. Monitoring the implementation of action plans resulting from non-conformities, ensuring that all the hotel's activities are carried out in accordance with Process Management, in order to achieve targets;
16. Ensuring the existence and validity of the documentation required for the establishment to operate.
Higher education completed
Solid experience in the position;
Advanced English;
Intermediate Spanish;
Advanced Office package;
Knowledge of Finance;
Knowledge of labor legislation;
Knowledge of the commercial area;
Knowledge of Taxes.
