Job description
POSITION SUMMARY
The role is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance, cleanliness, and health of the property’s outdoor and indoor plant areas. This role ensures that all grounds, planters, and landscaped spaces remain attractive, safe, and welcoming for guests and staff.
Monitor property grounds to ensure a pleasant appearance. Maintain the appearance of planters or other grounds features by cleaning, replacing or making repairs. Install new flowers and plants. Maintain room balcony and all interior plant containers, baskets, and boxes by watering, removing weeds, trimming, and performing other maintenance. Install, maintain, and operate irrigation systems. Perform pre-operation equipment safety check when using any mower or other equipment.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report defective equipment, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; protect company assets. Support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
License or Certification: Valid Driver’s License.
