The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel is looking for you as a Front of House Ambassador!

 

What are my responsibilities?

 

As a Front of House Ambassador you are part of the Front Desk & Navigator team. You are one of the first ambassadors that a guest comes into contact with and your friendly, authentic approach creates a unique and personalized guest experience when the guest checks in. You will tailor your approach towards each guest by reading cues from a guest to ensure the guest feels at home and special. Your expertise, as well as your relationships with other departments in the hotel (from Styling to the Navigator and beyond), will be used to anticipate and deliver on our guests’ needs.

–    You provide guests with warm welcome and look after them throughout their stay, from check in to check out. 
–    You assist guests with their luggage and valet parking when necessary. 
–    You create unique and personalized experiences for our guests by working together with other departments.

To be eligible for this position you…

 

•    Have hospitality and Front Desk experience.
•    Are able to communicate fluently in English and preferably Dutch.
•    Are passionate about the locale and local offerings.
•    Are full-time available and willing to work morning, evening and night shifts, which makes your job even more diverse.
•    Have the right to live and work in the Netherlands.

We are excited that the Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel is currently undergoing a full transformation. A major investment has been made in the hotel which will result in completely renovated guest rooms and public areas, including a brand-new bar, restaurant and rooftop bar & terrace. The hotel will expand from 402 to 500 rooms and an additional conference center will be constructed. The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel has a very high focus on sustainability and will aim to become an enhancement to the city of Amsterdam.
