Job Description

·  Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards.
·  Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment.
·  Anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.
·  Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
·  Perform general repairs in maintenance related disciplines, including but not limited to: carpentry, mechanics, plumbing, electrical, and finish work.
·  Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
·  Respond to guest room calls as required.
·  Prioritize work orders through urgent requests and established hotel area down times in order to minimize inconveniencing guests.
·  Inspect, plan and ensure that all materials and equipment are in complete readiness for service.
·  Maintain department equipment and supply inventory levels.
·  Ensure timely and accurate completion of projects.
·  Perform other duties and handle projects as assigned.
·  Ensure security, cleanliness, preventive maintenance and repair of engineering tools, equipment and safety features.
·  Promote sanitation, safety, security efforts, and guest services of the Hotel.
·  Participate on the Hotel's Emergency Evacuation Team.

Job Requirement

·  Minimum 2 years maintenance experience.
·  Must have good customer service and communication skills.
·  Willing to work weekends and holidays.
·  Have ability to lift, push, pull, carry 50 lbs. or more.
