The Historic Magnolia Hotel Denver, one of the newest members of the Tribute Portfolio brand is seeking an F&B Supervisor. The F&B Supervisor will assist in guest service satisfaction and staff management of Special Events Catering operations, and in Harry our award winning outlet operation. The F&B Supervisor will assist with carrying out BEOs by supervising Special Event staff, assisting the Meeting Manager, ensuring timely set-up, service of food & beverage during the event, and proper breakdown of event. The Magnolia Hotel does have multiple events occurring simultaneously, and can host events of up to 200 guests.

The F&B Supervisor will also assist in Harry be dealing with guest service flow, assisting the bartenders when necessary, assuring guest service standards, food delivery timing and quality standards are consistently met, communicate with the culinary team, and ensure opening or closing side duties are completed.

The F&B Supervisor will assist in training of new Front of the House Associates as well as communicate Associate performance and service delivery to F&B Management.

The desired qualifications we seek include, Ala carte supervisory or serving experience in an upscale house. Experience in training front of the house staff in service, sales and POS usage. Basic bartending skills (to jump in and help behind the bar). Banquet Captain or Banquet supervisory experience including extensive social catering experience. Good verbal communication skills. Experience in training staff in F&B front of the house.

Some minimum qualifications of the Lounge Supervisor position are:

Currently are, or able to become TIPS certified. Able to meet physical requirements of the position e.g., long periods of standing/walking, lifting and carrying, bending and pushing.
