Job Summary:

As a FLEX Workforce Operations Manager at Marriott International, you will play a pivotal role in the day-to-day support of the FLEX Talent Solutions program. This position, based at our global headquarters in Bethesda, MD, has a focus on our Global Technology organization, including driving solutions for hiring Marriott’s HQ temporary workforce, managing relationships with vendor partners who support staffing for headquarters and above property, providing administrative support to the FLEX program office, and managing tasks within the Vendor Management System, SimplifyVMS. 

 

Core Work Activities:

·       Work in close partnership with direct leadership to provide day-to-day support for the internal contingent labor program including vendor management, SimplifyVMS requisition management, lead requisition intake calls, and manage full life cycle of VMS.

·       Collaborate with Global Technology hiring managers and HR Business Partners to identify hiring needs and best practices.

·       Serve as strategic business partner to recommend/support sourcing initiatives.

·       Provide guidance to hiring managers regarding vendor engagement, SimplifyVMS, and candidate review and selection.

·       Lead implementation of standardized vendor management practices including vendor audits to ensure consistency and accountability.

·       Lead the end-to-end conversion process for Global Technology temporary labor utilizing Simplify VMS and Oracle HCM.

·       Partner with HR to determine alignment for Global Technology FLEX assignments based on compensation guidelines.

·       Extend verbal and written offers.

·       Assist with additional administrative tasks within the FLEX Talent Solutions Program as needed.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

       •     Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university

·       Familiarity with contingent workforce management, staffing agency operations, and/or human resources in a hiring and onboarding capacity required.

·       Previous experience in an administrative role, with a focus on process management.

·       Prior work experience in the contingent workforce industry, including internally managed PMO, MSP, EOR, AOR, or staffing company.

 

Candidate Profile:

·       Prior experience with VMS platforms (Simplify VMS, Fieldglass, Beeline, Vndly, etc.) required

·       Manager Service Provider (MSP) and staffing industry prior work experience required.

·       Experience managing vendor relationships including performance monitoring via KPIs/SLA.

·       Experience working in IT/technical staffing including technical recruiting is a plus.

·       Strong analytical skills.

·       Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

·       Strong proficiency with technology including Microsoft Office products (i.e. Outlook, Teams, Excel).

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with stakeholders.

·       Ability to deal effectively with vendors, candidates and hiring managers at all levels.

·       Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

·       Ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

 

This position will require a hybrid work schedule with 1-2 days in the office weekly.

The hourly pay range for this position is $34.66 to $53.37.
