Finance Associate - Compliance & Audit

Job description

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring audit and compliance requirements are met for our Front Office functions. This role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, identifying and mitigating risks, and maintaining a strong control environment.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Audit and Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedures for Front Office functions.
2. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to financial reporting, trading, and other Front Office activities.
3. Control Environment: Maintain a strong control environment, including the design and implementation of internal controls.
4. Audit Support: Coordinate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and information.
5. Compliance Monitoring: Monitor and report on compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
6. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
7. Financial Analysis: Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support business decisions.
8. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including Front Office teams, Risk Management, and Internal Audit.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

License or Certification: None
