Job Description

 

·  Supervise the daily operations of the food and beverage department, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery in our Cotton House hotel 5* from Autograph Collection, where history meets luxury in the heart of Barcelona. Housed in a beautifully restored 19th-century landmark, our hotel blends timeless elegance with contemporary comfort to offer guests a truly unforgettable stay.
·  Train and mentor staff members to uphold high standards of customer service and product quality.
·  Oversee the setup of dining areas according to established guidelines and ensure adherence to hygiene and safety protocols.
·  Assist in managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and controlling costs to optimize profitability.
·  Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to exceed guest expectations.
·  Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for enhancing the dining experience and increasing revenue.
·  Maintain a positive work environment by fostering teamwork, communication, and mutual respect among team members.
·  Perform other duties as assigned by the Food and Beverage Manager.

 

Job Requirements:

 

·  Previous experience in a supervisory role within the food and beverage industry, preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
·  Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
·  Excellent communication and customer service skills, with fluency in English and Spanish.
·  Knowledge of food and beverage operations, including service techniques, menu planning, and wine service.
·  Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and other relevant software applications.
·  Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
·  A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
