F&B Operations Intern

Objectives
As an F&B Operations Intern, you will gain a practical experience in a unique work environment like Costa Smeralda, and a full exposure across several areas of F&B to deliver an excellent guest experience. In the first part of your training you will be involved in the supervision of day-to-day activities of our outlets. In addition to assisting servers as needed on the floor, you may also be assigned to other food and beverage duties (e.g. drafting of menus) and may include special project assignments with exposure to other operational areas, based on business needs. In the second part of your training you will get exposure to the closing activities of the hotel, assisting with inventories, business review and other duties.
Main activities
· Help supervise the bar and restaurant operations under the guidance of the F&B Director and/or F&B Manager
· Understand the F&B staff grooming standards, policies and procedures
· Communicate in an efficient manner with peers and superiors
· Assist with the table set up and assure cleanliness of work areas at any time
· Participate in staff meetings
· Assist with the creation of daily menus/new menu concepts, amenities delivery, inventories, pricing and other activities
· Help take reservations, distribute menus and take orders when needed
· Welcome guests and bring any comments, suggestions and complaints to the attention of management (incl. social media reviews)
· Make sure the service is flawless and ensure guest satisfaction
To be considered for an internship
· you must be a university student or be enrolled in a hospitality/F&B program
· must be available from May 2025
· you speak fluently Italian and English
