JOB SUMMARY                                                                                                                                               

This position reports to the Director of Public Relations & Marketing. F&B Assistant Marketing Manager develops and executes marketing strategies for food and beverage outlets, supporting social media team, content creation, campaign planning, and performance analysis to drive brand awareness and customer engagement. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of the role include: 

Marketing and Social Media

·  Develop marketing strategies and plans, advertising, promotions, creative projects, media relations, sponsorships and event management.
·  Responsible for the brand development work of restaurants/outlets.
·  Organizes and Attends sales calls
·  Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote food and beverage offerings.
·  Utilize various channels, including digital marketing, social media, and traditional advertising, to enhance brand visibility; works closely with Social Media Team, to maximize on all platforms, fields and communication.
·  Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling marketing materials.
·  Develop revenue, profit growth strategies for the business, and take charge of the tactical execution of the brands’ marketing communication initiatives in support of the business strategy, market goals, and organizational objectives.
·  Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets.
·  Leads, coordinates campaigns and communications through all phases of launch and maintenance, including reporting, analysis and optimization.
·  Collaborate with internal business partners like Operations, F&B and Finance teams to ensure that all initiatives support the brand promise.
·  Monitor and improve ROI using strategic and analytical approach.
·  Prepare and manage budgets for various marketing and branding initiatives to achieve cost efficiencies.
·  Identify, develop and implement strategic marketing partnership/campaign plans (online and offline) with the objective of getting brand awareness and improve outlet sales. (works closely with Sales and Social Media Team)
·  Executes Sales, Business Development and Partnership calls.
·  Evaluate the success of events and adjust strategies accordingly.
·  Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
·  Ensure alignment with Marriott brand standards and marketing guidelines.
·  Manage the yearly/quarterly/monthly marketing calendar to ensure timely execution of all campaigns/activations.
·  Reply to messages, comments and guest inquiries on Instagram and all other social media platforms (as per Marriott / The Ritz-Carlton communication standards).
·  Track campaign performance and prepare performance reports.
·  Support influencer and media visit coordination (schedule, requirements, follow-up).

Leadership

·  Communication and organization with other departments in order to finish tasks.
·  Prepare simple press notes, talking points or briefing materials when required

Communication

·  Ensure that all pertinent information is provided to influencers, guests, media, and colleagues.
·  Ensure that all communication with clients, guests and colleagues is complete, accurate, engaging and positive.
·  Attend daily line-ups and communicate all challenges and successes with the rest of the team.
·  Promptly, accurately and consistently report all guest incidents and how they were solved.
·  Attend designated meetings.

Other

·  Perform all tasks as detailed in daily task list – works on different tasks related to marketing and communication when required.
·  F&B Hands on experience in photo editing and video editing (different applications and software programs)
·  Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of work area of all times
·  Participate in related project teams
·  Monthly attendance record in accordance with hotel procedures
·  The overall cleanliness of the sales and marketing office.
·  Coordinate professional photoshoots and video shoots with external partners.
·  Organize professional photoshoots and video shoots of different set up and activations in the F&B venues for social media usage.
·  Oversee menu updates, design coordination and printing schedules.
·  Monitor and respond to guest feedback on online platforms (as per Marriott / The Ritz-Carlton communication standards).
·  Support online reputation management in line with Marriott guidelines.

 

PROFILE

Experience

· 
2-4 years of experience in food and beverages sales, and or/social media management or a related role.

·  Experience with content creation, social media strategy, and analytics (Microsoft office experience is a must).

 

Education 

·  College level

Required Skills

·  Ability to maintain hotel’s standards, policies and procedure
·  Proven experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role.
·  Strong writing and communication skills.
·  Strong organizational and time-management skills.
·  Excellent ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize them.
·  Ability to write/shoot catchy content.
·  English language a must, Arabic is a plus.
