Wine Captain (Chinese or Russian Speaking)
Position Summary
As a Wine Captain , you will play a key role in curating an exceptional dining and event experience for our guests. Your expertise in wine service, paired with your ability to communicate in Chinese or Russian , will enhance the overall F&B experience, ensuring guests receive personalized recommendations and impeccable service.
From setting up banquet events to guiding guests through wine pairings and coordinating with the culinary team, your role is to make every dining experience seamless and memorable.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide expert wine recommendations to enhance guests’ dining experiences.
· Assist in creating and updating wine lists and pairing menus.
· Set up and maintain dining and event spaces, ensuring all service materials are in place.
· Communicate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth service.
· Engage with guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and responding to special requests.
· Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization in all work areas.
· Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and sanitation standards.
· Report maintenance issues, accidents, or unsafe conditions to management.
· Support team members and foster a positive working environment.
· Perform additional tasks as assigned by supervisors. Qualifications & Requirements
· Experience: Minimum 1 year in a similar F&B or wine-related role.
· Language: Fluency in Chinese or Russian is required.
· Skills: Strong knowledge of wines, excellent guest service, and attention to detail.
· Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
