The Ritz Carlton, Hong Kong is currently hiring an Executive Sous Chef.

 

Job Summary

·  Oversee daily kitchen operations and manage associates, ensuring smooth workflow and productivity.
·  Supervise food preparation activities and coordinate the kitchen team.
·  Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and recognition of achievements.
·  Set and achieve culinary and financial goals, including managing budgets and staffing levels.
·  Ensure compliance with culinary standards, food handling, and sanitation regulations.
·  Assist in menu development and maintain high-quality food presentation and flavor.
·  Engage with guests for feedback to enhance service and empower associates to deliver excellent customer service.
·  Conduct human resource activities, including coaching, mentoring, and managing disciplinary procedures.

 

Job Requirements

·  High school diploma, culinary degree or equivalent
·  Proven experience in kitchen management or a similar role.
·  Strong leadership and supervisory skills to manage and motivate a team.
