JOB SUMMARY

The Executive, Marriott Bonvoy & Portfolio Marketing, APEC has responsibility for:

·  Portfolio marketing 
·  Marriott Bonvoy Moments (focused on Asia Pacific excluding China)
·  Experiential activation & Partnerships 

Reporting to Director, Marriott Bonvoy & Portfolio Marketing, APEC, this role will work close collaboration with global, continent and area teams to plan and, plan and create a closer bond between our guests and our portfolio and loyalty program by creating immersive and memorable experiences in a manner that is locally relevant and aligned with global strategy. In addition, this role is responsible for driving marketing performance within the region. 

Success in this role requires to be a proactive team player, strong organizational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time. This position will work closely with other departments within the continent/region/area offices. 

CANDIDATE PROFILE 

Education and Experience 

·  Degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major
·  1-2 years of relevant professional experience in marketing, events, partnership communications, program management, digital or related function, demonstrating progressive career growth and pattern of exceptional performance.

Key experience includes:

·  Working with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve a common goal.
·  Self-starter and quick-learner who performs well with appropriate supervision and has a track record of producing results and demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional projects to drive concrete results and actions
·  Creative mindset of continually thinking and presenting new ideas on how to enhance event experiences and partnerships to create impact to the business.
·  Excellent communications and organizing skills. Well organized, detail-minded, manage multiple projects, planning and priorities with on time, on budget delivery.
·  Proven ability to interact and influence all levels of the organization through persuasive communication and analysis
·  Strong ability to manage through influence rather than direct reporting relationships
·  Analytical mindset and familiarity with financial principles 
·  Experience marketing through various channels: properties, contact centers, direct mail, email, web, social media, etc
·  Strong PC skills including MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES 

Portfolio Marketing 

·  Support on developing strategies, planning processes, and setting KPIs for all portfolio marketing and partnership initiatives that differentiate Marriott Bonvoy and portfolio from competitors. 
·  Own and manage Marriott Bonvoy brand and marketing governance. Liaise with internal and external parties to ensure all marketing messages are aligned with brand guidelines.
·  Other core work activities include the followings but not limited to:
·  Regional connection point
·  Ideation & Concepting 
·  Stakeholder alignment
·  Approval process
·  Budget management and tracking
·  Research, trends, and POV analysis 
·  Agency management 
·  RFI/RFP development & distribution 
·  Campaign execution within a quick turnaround time

Marriott Bonvoy Moments

·  Execute Marriott Bonvoy Moments strategy by closely collaborating with partners, Area teams, hotels, various stakeholders to deliver seamless member experience in Asia Pacific excluding China.
·  Be the advocate of all above-property and on-property Marriott Bonvoy Moments submission in Asia Pacific excluding China.
·  Conduct and keep track of the full year calendar and results on all Asia Pacific (excluding China) Marriott Bonvoy Moments and marketing activities.

Experiential Activation & Partnerships

·  Execute and monitor experiential campaigns that drive conversation and engagement with loyalty program and portfolio in a meaningful way. 
·  Ensure marketing and event activation plan is executed flawlessly and in line with the marketing rights negotiated for the partnerships
·  Other core work activities include the followings but not limited to:
·  Buzz activation / project management 
·  RACI/stakeholder alignment & approvals 
·  Budget management 
·  Agency management 
·  Messaging & PR alignment 
·  Pre, during & post communications
·  KPI measurement & reporting
