JOB SUMMARY

The Executive, APEC Digital plays a crucial role in supporting digital activation initiatives for hotels involved in Marriott Digital Services (MDS) programs, as well as coordinating Digital Products projects in the APEC region. This position assists a portfolio of properties in effectively implementing digital marketing activities that drive both awareness and profitability at the property level. Additionally, it provides administrative support for Digital Products’ initiatives.

This role acts as a support function, aiding the Vice President, APEC Digital, and the broader APEC MDS and Digital Products teams to execute digital strategies across Marriott's direct digital channels. The focus is on increasing digital revenue, growing market share, and creating an engaging customer experience that encourages bookings through our direct online channels. Furthermore, the Executive, APEC Digital assists with the daily planning, communication, and management of the APEC Digital organization.

Reporting to the Vice President APEC Digital (Asia Pacific, Excluding Greater China), this role bridges the MDS and Digital Products organizations. Marriott Digital Services operates as an in-house digital services team, providing hotels with essential digital support in an agency-like model within the Global Digital organization. Meanwhile, the APEC Digital Products team develops and manages digital solutions to enhance localized customer experiences and support digital transformation.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience  

·  BS/BA degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality, or related major, preferred.
·  3+ year experience (digital marketing experience preferred)
·  Passion to learn the digital or hospitality industry
·  Written and verbal fluency in English

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES 

Digital Execution

·  Support the execution of digital programs and strategy design for APEC hotels participating in MDS.
·  Manage digital products initiatives, including documentation, meeting organization, project tracking, communications, and data entry or reporting to ensure smooth team operations and project delivery.
·  Assist leadership teams to review tactic progress against established goals.
·  Organize digital trainings, workshops and onboarding plans for hotels and internal teams.
·  Design strong presentations and reporting for Chief’s and Sr. Leadership that highlights digital activities.  
·  Track market trends, actions and opportunities across APEC markets.

Client Service Support

·  Manage team meetings, note taking and tracking of follow-up requests. 
·  Coordinate with HQ teams on roll-out of new products, features and tactics to support the implementation across APEC hotels. 
·  Assist Digital Consultants with ad-hoc projects when necessary.

Project and Program Management

·  Track program enrollments, product adoption and business opportunities for MDS APEC.
·  Responsible for oversight of monthly business review deck creation for leadership 
·  Support team on exporting data and analysis of APEC business performance across different digital channels. 
·  Ensure team resources and files are organized and well stored in share folders, Microsoft Teams, etc.
·  Facilitate and arrange travel logistics for Vice President APEC Digital.
·  Support the onboarding of new team member by arranging access to systems, tools and communication channels.
·  Coordinate the annual team Accelerate week, including hotel blocks, meeting rooms and team travel planning.
·  Perform other reasonable duties, such as special projects, as assigned by the Vice President, APEC Digital.
