POSITION SUMMARY
【 Purpose of Role 】
Events Sales Manager performs key functions such as handling events and customer service, bookings of all types of non-residential events from various sources of leads, soliciting business, sales call and administration. Through proper handover process, Events Sales Manager also manages entire MICE groups (both rooms and events) after the contract is signed by Sales Managers.
Events Sales Manager interfaces with the hotel management (Director of Events, Director of Sales & Director of Sales & Marketing) to report on operational matters, personnel issues, individual sales and service performance; as well as market survey related to Events Sales department.
【 Cast Key Responsibilities 】
1.To prepare correspondence to customer, create internal booking reports, keep and maintain accurate files and Delphi information.
2.To handle assigned sales demarcation (in accordance to industry type).
3.To plan and execute W Happenings events (per assignment).
4.To liaise with Sales team on file handover for rooms / events / meeting execution.
5.To work effectively with Sales Managers to ensure set revenue goals and client satisfaction are achieved.
6.To monitor group room attrition and communicate closely with the client on changes.
7.To liaise with clients on all final meeting information and prepare group resume, rooming list, meeting run down summary, BEO production and dissemination.
8.To ensure client billing accuracy and payment follow up.
9.To ensure events activities postings are updated in Delphi and followed up on accordingly.
