Qualifications :
The London EDITION are looking for a motivated, goal driven and organised Events & Group Sales Coordinator.
As Events & Group Sales Coordinator you will handle social and local corporate catering opportunities . You will ensure that business is turned over properly in a timely fashion for quality service delivery. You will achieve catering revenue goals by actively up-selling each business opportunity. You will also implement the brand's service strategy and brand initiatives in all aspects of sales process and drive customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
Main responsibilities will include:
- Planning of all groups once after contracting stage.
- Looking after cancellation revenue, reward points and commission payments.
- Performing general office duties to support the Event SalesTeam (e.g., filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, copying).
- Preparing sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, or banquet event orders).
- Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, leads, third parties) in software involved in the sales process.
- Answering guest questions about property facilities/services (e.g., hours of operation, rates and room types, packages, promotions, entertainment, restaurants, special events).
- Serving as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests.
We are looking for a dependable person who is able to multi-task, works well with others and has excellent time management.
