Who we are looking for...

As Engineering Supervisor, you are the first point of contact for the hotel team when technical challenges arise. You assign your team on a daily basis, monitor progress and provide advice and support. You are also a direct contact person for external companies. You support the Director of Engineering and the Assistant Director in all projects and tasks and are known in the hotel as a real problem solver due to your helpful and pragmatic nature.

What your responsibilities are...

·  You act as a contact person for your team, colleagues, guests and external partners 
·  You are responsible for ensuring that all technical systems and equipment, such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electricity and sanitary facilities are working properly
·  You keep an eye on the energy consumption and make suggestions in order to constantly reduce it
·  Your duties also include performing repairs and maintenance on technical equipment and facilities, as well as inspections of safety equipment
·  You will use your broad technical knowledge and manual skills to repair damage and carry out repairs where possible.
·  You make regular inspections of the building and technical equipment
·  You are jointly responsible for ensuring the safety of the building and always have the well-being and safety of the employees and guests in mind
·  You provide technical support to your team and work closely with all other hotel departments
·  You are responsible for shift scheduling and shift procedures
·  You create duty & on-call schedules
·  You provide new team members with a professional induction and a motivating working atmosphere
·  You are a real team player with all hotel departments and the leadership team

·  You have completed vocational training in a skilled trade or already have several years of relevant experience as a house technician.
·  If you have already managed a small team, this would be a big plus
·  Willingness to work shifts & weekends
·  You have a fantastic appearance and convince with your professionalism
·  Your strong sense of quality and high standards show in everything you do
·  You are a communication talent with very good German and English skills
·  Your winning appearance, your can-do attitude and hands-on mentality are a natural part of your personality
·  Your enthusiasm to share your knowledge with the team and trainees is contagious!

What your responsibilities are...

·  You are jointly responsible for the plant engineering, the maintenance of the building structure and the entire FF&E 
·  You keep an eye on the energy consumption and make suggestions to constantly reduce it
·  You are jointly responsible for ensuring building security and always have the well-being and safety of employees and guests in mind. 
·  Fire protection with all its facets is also your responsibility.
·  You are the technical leader of the entire technical team and work closely with all other hotel departments.
·  You are responsible for shift scheduling and shift procedures
·  You create duty & on-call schedules
·  You provide new team members with a professional induction and a motivating working atmosphere
·  You are a real team player with all hotel departments and the leadership team

·  You already have several years of professional experience in building services with initial management experience
·  You have ideally completed a vocational training in electrical engineering
·  You are highly organized and maintain an overview 
·  You are a communicative networker who works productively with contractors of all trades, suppliers and colleagues
·  Your strong quality awareness and high standards are evident in everything you do
·  You are a communication talent 
·  Your technical and organizational knowledge and skills are the basis for your decisions
