Job Purpose: Two to three sentences describing the overall purpose of the job
Assist with maintenance and repair of all of Electrical systems and equipment including planned maintenance, installation and modifications.
Job Responsibilities: Maximum of ten responsibilities, in order of percentage of time spent on functions from longest to shortest; do not list anything that does not represent at least 10% of the job’s time. Please include supervisory responsibilities.
1.
Assist with maintenance and repair of all electrical systems including troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, electrical system installation and temporary power installations.
2.
Assist with the installation of wiring and devices.
3.
Assist with the operation and maintenance of in-house intelligent lighting system and exterior systems.
4.
Change light bulbs, ballast and fixtures and troubleshoot circuit problems as needed.
5.
May be responsible for assisting with the set–up, tear – down and distribution of temporary power for shows and events held on property.
6.
Perform safety checks all electrical devices as assigned.
7.
Ensure cleanliness in assigned spaces.
8.
Maintain familiarity with National Electrical Codes.
9.
Comply with OSHA regulations, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and safety precautions.
10.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
Minimum of one year electrical experience or enrollment in a trade school required.
Licenses/Certifications
Valid Driver’s License and a satisfactory driving record may be required. Material Handling Equipment certification as required (may vary by property)

Customarily and regularly direct the work of at least 2 or more full-time STARS or their equivalent (1 full-time STAR at 40 and 2 half-time STARS at 20 hours each , are equivalent to 2 full-time STARS).
Authority to hire or fire other STARS, or makes suggestions and recommendations as to the hiring, firing , advancement, promotion or any other change of status of other employees are given particular weight.
