Job description

Purpose of Role

To be a leader, provide coaching and support to Welcome, Style, SWEAT, WET, Away Spa and W Hotels – The Store Talent. 

To ensure that Rooms departments operate effectively at all times. 

To strategically plan for the future and ensure that the division is capable of providing excellent operation at all times. 

To ensure that Human Resource needs of Rooms Talent and their effective training are effectively implemented at all times. 

Embrace the Company Vision and Value, and has the overall responsibility to achieve hotel objectives of high levels of customer service, profitability and Talent satisfaction at all times in Rooms division.

Responsibly Description

-Be the driving force of the W brand language, personality, and Whatever/Whenever promise throughout Rooms division.

-Be ultimately responsible for the actions and operations of Welcome, Style, SWEAT, WET, Away Spa and W Hotels – The Store Talent.

-Ensure that the Talent are always equipped with necessary materials to conduct their daily operational duties.

-Through the use of multi skills, multi-tasking and flexible schedule, maximise talent productivity to meet business financial goals, as well as guest expectations.

-Ensure that as all revenue generating departments deliver brand promise, they are also operating to maximise revenue and profit through upselling, pricing activities and proper yield management.

-Inspect and evaluate overall condition and cleanliness of entire property.

-Produce measurable efficiencies through optimal use of labor, resources, energy conservation policies and cost containment.  Ensure that an effective and measurable “green” environmental program is in place across Rooms division.

-Exceed guest expectation and shows consistent improvement in guest satisfaction measurements.

-Handle internal and external customer comments appropriately and expediently. 

-Knowledgeable and skilled in handling emergency procedures; leads department in event of actual emergency.

-Promote hotel policies and philosophies to Talent and guests through direct and indirect interaction.
