JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Human Resources will report directly to the property General Manager, with a dotted-line (functional) reporting relationship to the Regional Senior Director of Human Resources and will be an integral member of the property executive committee. As a member of the Human Resources organization, he/she contributes a high level of human resource generalist knowledge and expertise for a designated property. He/she will be accountable for talent acquisition, succession/workforce planning, performance management and development for property employees, using technology efficiently, and coaching/developing others to help influence and execute business objectives in the most efficient manner. He/she generally works with considerable independence, developing processes to accomplish objectives in alignment with broader business objectives. Additionally, he/she utilizes a Human Resource Business Plan aligned with property and brand strategies to deliver HR services that enable business success.
Reports to: General Manager (Direct), Regional Senior Director of HR (Functional)
Role Overview: As an integral member of the executive committee, the Director of Human Resources will drive HR strategy, talent acquisition, succession planning, performance management, and employee development. This role requires a high level of HR expertise, independence, and alignment with business objectives.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience:
· Option 1: 2-year degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field + 4 years of relevant experience.
· Option 2: 4-year degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field + 2 years of relevant experience. Core Responsibilities
HR Strategy:
· Execute engagement surveys and follow-up actions.
· Champion talent management and diversity strategies.
· Align HR initiatives with business priorities.
· Lead succession planning and leadership pipeline assessments.
· Drive performance outcomes and cost control through proactive HR approaches.
Staffing & Recruitment:
· Balance talent development with business needs.
· Facilitate selection and interviewing processes.
· Optimize staffing and make strategic hiring decisions.
· Develop and implement staffing strategies with hiring managers.
Compensation Strategy:
· Stay updated on compensation trends.
· Plan and communicate total compensation strategies.
· Conduct internal equity analyses and address issues.
· Implement recognition and incentive programs.
Staff Development:
· Ensure HR staff are trained and responsive to employee needs.
· Serve as a resource for employee relations.
· Promote positive employee relations.
Requirements:
· Will need to have the right to work in Morocco.
· Will need to understand local labour laws.
