Job Summary
The Internal Communications Coordinator will support the daily operations of the Global Internal Communications team. Their responsibilities include providing administrative support, managing calendars, processing payments, and documenting meetings. This position will collaborate with the Director of Editorial to maintain the global communications database and coordinate logistics for internal events. Additionally, this position will be responsible for preparing and distributing internal announcements, reports, and presentations, and act as a supporting writer/editor.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education & Experience
Required
· Bachelor's degree, preferably with a concentration in Communications, Journalism, English, or Marketing
· 2+ years of communications experience in internal communications experience; knowledge of the hospitality business preferred.
· Solid communications skills, both verbal and written. Ability to develop and implement highly effective strategic and measurable communications plans.
· Creative problem-solving skills and excellent time management.
· Outstanding interpersonal skills to effectively build relationships and interact with associates at all levels within the organization and with the general public.
· Ability to routinely work from the HQ office in Bethesda.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
· Support role for daily operations of Global Internal Communications team.
· Provides administrative support, including calendar management, payment processing, meeting documentation, and other duties as required.
· Collaborates with Director, Editorial to manage the global communications database, including daily maintenance of editorial calendar, file documentation, and executive summaries.
· Coordinates logistics for meetings, town halls, webcasts, and other internal events.
· Prepares and distributes internal announcements, memos, and other materials to facilitate communication between Global Internal Communications and other GCPA departments.
· Prepares reports, presentations, metrics, and other analysis as required for communications deliverables.
· Acts as supporting writer/editor across the team.
· Performs other duties as requested from Managing Vice President, Global International Communications and Executive Vice President, Chief Communications & Public Affairs Officer.
The salary range for this position is $53,400 to $89,900 annually.
