The role

As you'd expect, relationships are the most important aspect to this role. Here, you'll be dealing with corporate clients and managing everything from business events to weddings. Crucially, you'll bring the charm, personality and warmth that ensures our guests return time and time again. You'll direct and motivate a team, while personally ensuring quality, as well as monitoring finances and administration. You'll bring the ideas, the strategy and the ability to deliver great experiences that continue to bring people back to our hotel.

The Market Kitchen is our signature restaurant. As one of just five in the UK, it's a bold and brilliant new venture into the dining experience for Marriott International. Serving stylish global fare from fresh produce, our restaurant offers wholesome, culturally inspired dishes from around the world. Driven by our dedicated kitchen team, this is a dining experience that you will be proud to promote.

What you'll bring

You're a strong character who's passionate about creating exceptional experiences for our guests, and you bring a background conference and banqueting, within a hotel or restaurant. As well as a high school diploma or GED, you'll have 3 years' experience in event management, food and beverage, or a related area. Alternatively, you'll bring a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related major, and 1 year's relevant experience.
