We would like to welcome you to the iconic Sheraton Grand London Park Lane Hotel as our next Doorman.




As a member of the Concierge Team it is my job to ensure that great memories are created for all our guests during their whole stay. While the guests will be spending their stay in and around the hotel, it is the personal interactions they will mostly remember and this is at the centre of my role. As Doorman it is important to be visible at the front so that people are able to interact from the very moment of arrival.

I play a proactive role in welcoming guests to the Hotel, greeting them with an appropriate Sheraton Language and using guest name's wherever possible. Often the first and last point of contact with guests, it is important to make good first impressions and a great lasting impression upon them.

My key duties include me needing to be aware of the daily events taking place in the hotel at all times, including functions, VIP's and key appointments, take responsibility for guest luggage, making sure it is correctly labelled and to have an excellent knowledge of the local area. I will actively hail taxi's for guests requiring them.

Being in Central London means that we meet a great diversity of people, from business people to tourists from all over the world, and make working very enjoyable as there is no two shifts that are the same.

I derive satisfaction from when guest thanks me personally for making them feel welcome or when they remember me during their next stay at the hotel.
