As Cluster Director of Sales you will be responsible for the Sales growth and strategy for Melbourne Marriott Docklands and AC by Marriott Southbank Hotel’s and reporting jointly to the Multi-Property General Manager and the Market Director of Sales. 

Position Summary:

·  Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve property’s financial room and catering goals whilst consistently analysing market information
·  Responsible for managing large group/catering related opportunities with significant revenue potential
·  Support the hotel’s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by engaging and inspiring guests through each customer experience
·  Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts
·  Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
·  Ensure you and the team uphold all company policies and procedures whilst enabling achievement of property sales objectives
·  Lead and manages all day-to-day activities related to the sales function
·  Ensure your team is supporting the hotel’s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by engaging and inspiring guests through each customer experience  
·  Plan and execute team building activities so associates feel valued for their contributions
·  Be a dynamic and thoughtful leader by empowering and supporting your team

About You:

·  Experience in a similar managerial role
·  Extensive sales management experience
·  Hotel or hospitality experience preferred
·  Demonstrated leadership experience 
·  Enthusiastic to escalate your career
·  Self-motivated, driven and energized in a fast-paced environment
·  Armed with smart solutions and a can-do attitude
