Settimo, positioned within The Westin Brisbane, located in the heart of the CBD will be a gathering place for lovers of authentic Italian flavours enjoyed with relaxed sophistication.

The Grossi family is a genuine family of restaurantuers with a generational commitment to the industry and its people. Settimo is now seeking creative people with a passion to develop and grow within the exciting hospitality world under the guidance and influence of Grossi and The Westin Brisbane.

THE VENUE

Opening February 2023 Settimo  takes its cues from the Amalfi Coast, presenting beautiful Italian coastal cuisine that celebrates Brisbane’s coastal sensibilities whilst upholding Grossi’s Italian heritage through every touchpoint. Settimo invites you to experience the simple flavours, friendly hospitality and vibrant energy of the Amalfi coast. Enjoy an expression of coastal Italian culture crafted for our Brisbane family by Guy Grossi. At Settimo – intuitive service, an inventive spirit and a little fun are second nature.

THE GIG

Settimo is seeking the best of the best industry talent that embodies ‘sprezzatura’, the Italian notion of considered nonchalance, to bring the full Settimo  experience to life. 

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Chef De Partie to join our Culinary team and work alongside Guy Grossi. 

Full Time permanent role 

·  Commercial Cookery Trade Certificate and minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Chef de Partie role
·  Experiences in a busy high end a la carte restaurant environment 
·  Ensuring that all food products received into the kitchen are of the required standard and quality and that they are stored and rotated correctly
·  Responsible for the hygienic and safe preparation of food within all food and beverage outlets
·  Full knowledge of HACCP and Workplace Health & Safety
·  Ensure 100% compliance with all local Legislation

Successful applications are required to have significant culinary experience in standalone restaurants and be able to deliver authentic hospitality with a passion to continuously further knowledge and skill.
