Position Summary – Waiter/Waitress

As a Casual Waiter/Waitress at The Hansom, you will deliver exceptional table service by providing high-quality food and beverage service while creating a welcoming and memorable experience for guests. You will demonstrate excellent product knowledge, maintain consistent brand standards, and engage confidently with guests through strong service skills. This role is ideal for a passionate hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering premium service and working as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

·  Deliver efficient, friendly, and consistent table service across all shifts
·  Serve food and beverages to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and service
·  Maintain full compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations
·  Support stock control by minimising waste and reporting shortages as required
·  Drive sales through upselling, strong product knowledge, and guest engagement
·  Participate in promotional activities and seasonal menu offerings
·  Assist with menu knowledge, recommendations, and service initiatives
·  Ensure tables and service areas are clean, organised, and fully prepared at all times
·  Maintain accurate order taking, billing, and transaction procedures
·  Engage guests with warm, attentive service and detailed knowledge of the menu and brand

Work collaboratively with the restaurant and wider hotel team to maintain a positive and professional working environment
