Job Summary

Ensure staff is working together as a team. Communicate with guests, other employees, or departments to ensure guest needs are met. Respond to and try to fulfil any special banquet event arrangements. Set up banquet area/room, ensuring cleanliness and proper set up of furniture/equipment. Inspect and maintain table set-ups for cleanliness, neatness and agreement with group requirements and company standards, and resolve any problems. Document pertinent information in appropriate department logbook. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals.

The ideal person will need to have the following experience, knowledge and skills:

·  Bar experience and product knowledge required
·  Previous experience working within a similar environment preferred
·  Till and cash handling experience required
·  Strong Communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
·  Pro-active, confident, friendly and reliable
·  Able to work alone and within a team
·  Good level of English essential

This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs., standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required. Prior to employment, we'll ask you to complete safety training and certification.
