POSITION SUMMARY
Perform cashier duties when assigned or required. Supervise casino cage procedures (e.g., table’s chip fills, chips turn backs, credit markers, E-check, and credit card vouchers). Prepare and distribute individual banks to Cashiers. Receive table and slot cash drops and summarize funds received. Maintain and verify all company assets (e.g., cash coin, casino markers, returned checks, and casino chip inventory). Monitor and request all cage supplies (e.g., ratings, markers, and cash envelopes). Serve as a departmental role model or mentor by working alongside employees to perform technical or functional job duties. Assist management in establishing and communicating goals, performance expectations, timetables and deadlines for shift or departmental operations to hourly employees and ensure that they are understood.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance is clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than 40 pounds without assistance. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended time period. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 3 years of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
License or Certification: None
