Overall responsibilities:
The Casino Compliance Officer's main responsibility is to ensure that Internal controls and audit procedures within the Casino are followed in accordance to the Marriott International Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), the Stellaris Casino Local Operating Procedures (LOSP), the Nevada Minimum Control Standards (MICS), Money Laundering Legislation (MOT) and the AML/CFT Compliance Program. The Compliance Officer audits the day-to-day compliance of the Casino ensuring timely and accurate reporting to MOT, reporting compliance exceptions noted to the responsible department heads for corrective action, and reporting to the Casino's Compliance Committee for additional monitoring, when required. The Compliance Officer is also a liaison with the External Compliance Auditors and the Regulators charged with the supervision, enforcement, and oversight of the AML/CFT State Ordinance.
Qualification Standards:
- HBO/HEAO/ Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Related
- Experience in an auditing position is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally, in Dutch and English
- Must be born on Aruba
