Job Summary

·  To do preventive maintenance, repair of generators, diesel plants, sewage treatment plants, incinerator, dhonis, speed boats, buggies and sand pumps.
·  Maintain company's dhonis in running condition and attend preventive maintenance, and check-ups as instructed by superiors.
·  Maintain company vehicles, buggies, and heavy equipment machinery in running condition and do preventive maintenance check-ups as per superior's instructions.
·  Attend to engine breakdowns, malfunction, and preventive maintenance of desalination plant as instructed by his superiors.
·  Assist in the maintenance of the company speedboats and attend to any malfunction and breakdowns as no available outboard engine mechanic to date.
·  To check and maintain fire pumps in running condition and available in case of fire.
·  Records all electrical parts used during repair and inform to Maintenance officer to order parts
·  Standby on call in any emergency job of electrical works after midnight as per duty roster or as required by Director of Engineering.
·  Attend daily morning briefing except day off.
·  Maintain cleanliness around the surrounding of electrical work shop and to where the job had been done.
·  Assist engineering crews in urgent needs of manpower when necessary.
·  Attend duties on time as per duty roster.

·  Help and assist engineering crews in times of emergency or in case of fire, natural disaster and calamities.
·  To look after guest safety, and address any guest issues as quickly as possible, ensuring that they are completely happy with the work done.
·  To complete activities on the preventive maintenance schedule as specified in hotel plans.
·  To look after all the tools supplied by the Hotel in a professional manner, and correctly maintain and deposit them after finishing the shift.
·  To clean all work areas after finishing the tasks properly.
·  To follow all safety procedures while carrying out any tasks.
·  To maintain effective communication with the Shift Leader at all times.
·  To actively participate in the energy conservation programs of the Hotel.
·  To utilize or recommend usage of all environmentally-friendly products in the work place.
·  To suggest cost saving ideas as and when possible, not limited to the Engineering Department.

Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests' service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladder. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
