Responsibilities:
· Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
· Follow recipes and presentation specifications
· Operate standard kitchen equipment safety and efficiently
· Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
· Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
· Restock items as needed throughout the shift
· Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
Requirements to be successful in this role:
· Previous work experience in a hotel setting or in a similar food service role is ideal, but willing to train the right person looking to grow their career. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment!
· Marriott brand experience is beneficial
· Must be available to work 4 PM-11 PM EST
· Strong culinary skills and a passion for food
· Attention to detail and a commitment to culinary excellence
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment
· Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
· Culinary degree or formal training is a plus but not required
