POSITION SUMMARY
The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee drinks and other related products, ensuring an exceptional experience for customers. Must be knowledgeable about different types of coffee, preparation methods, and be able to work in a dynamic environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, teas, and other beverages.
2. Handle and operate coffee machinery such as espresso machines and grinders.
3. Maintain a clean and orderly environment at the work station and in the service area.
4. Provide excellent customer service, interacting in a friendly and professional manner.
5. Be knowledgeable about and promote the beverage and food menu.
6. Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
7. Perform cleaning and maintenance tasks on coffee equipment.
8. Collaborate with the team to ensure an efficient workflow during peak hours.
REQUIREMENTS
• Previous experience as a barista or in a similar position.
• Knowledge of different types of coffee and preparation methods.
• Customer service and effective communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
