The team of the The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna is looking for a Lady or Gentlemen for the position:

Banquet Supervisor

 

When business brings you to Vienna, The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna delivers an experience that is both productive and inspired. The conference hotel features 900 square meters of flexible function space, including two boardrooms, three breakout rooms and a stunning Crystal Ballroom. During the summer months, groups can also reserve the hotel's Atmosphere Rooftop Bar for breaks and receptions that deliver impressive, panoramic views. Yet the venues are only the first component of successful conferences. The hotel's dedicated event planners lend the right blend of expertise and innovation to every gathering so that the experience stays with each person long after the conference ends.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Planning, execution and coordination of the entire banquet operation
·  Coordination and ensuring a smooth service process in our banquet area
·  Design a unique banquet experience with multifunctional buffet systems and live cooking stations
·  Close cooperation with our Catering & Event Sales and Culinary Department to ensure a smooth running of events
·  Management of advanced technology and hi-tech AV equipment
·  Taking care of guests, handling of complaints, as well as analysis and evaluation of guest feedback

 

Your Qualifications:

·  a sound training in the upscale hotel industry
·  Professional experience in the food & beverage sector 
·  Leadership skills
·  An independent and self-responsible way of working
·  Organizational and planning skills
·  Friendliness, teamwork and flexibility
·  professional appearance and behavior
·  Very good knowledge of German and English, additional foreign languages are advantageous
