Part of my role in Mercante, is to fully understand our unique restaurant concept and ensure that our customers can relate, so they can be part of the experience. I must use my upselling skills to inform our customers of our running promotions.

Essentially, I am in charge and responsible for welcoming guests to the restaurant during the breakfast meal period. I allocate tables spreading the work load on the different stations. My main responsibilities are greeting & seating guests, whilst consistently demonstrating a high level of customer service. Additional duties include maintaining cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures, assisting supervisors and complying with all brand standards.
