POSITION SUMMARY

 

The Human Resources Assistant provides essential operational and administrative support within the HR Department, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely maintenance of records and files in compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Key responsibilities include: Assisting in the recruitment process by maintaining backup data and records, publishing job openings, and coordinating interview schedules with hiring managers. Ensuring all HR documentation and processes comply with the company’s audit standards. Maintaining organized and up-to-date employee records to support seamless HR operations. Supports operations in the staff cafeteria, with the culinary team in accordance with instructions from their superiors.

This role plays a vital part in supporting efficiency and compliance within the HR function, contributing to a structured and well-managed work environment.

Creates and maintains filing systems. Files and maintains applicant interview documentation and records. Files, tracks, and processes employment applications. Creates and types office correspondence using a computer. Audits and coordinates distribution of paychecks. Communicates to all applicants receiving a job offer the necessary documentation required to bring on first day of employment in order to complete employment verification forms. Creates new employee personnel files. Designs and updates the display and content of employee communication bulletin boards (e.g., with regard to employment, recruitment, transfers, and promotions). Posts all necessary legal or regulatory notices related to Human Resources in view of all employees as required by law. 

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Languages: Serbian, Fluent English

Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.

Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.

License or Certification: None
