Job Summary

Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager this role is responsible for the front office operations in absence of the Front Office Manager. Responsible for leading and assisting with the successful completion of daily shift requirements. Front office areas include Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard and Guest Services/Front Desk and Concierge where applicable. Strives to ensure guest and employee satisfaction and achieve the operating budget. Assists in completing financial and administrative responsibilities. Responsible for leading and supervising members of the department during shift and ensuring the successful completion of daily shift requirements. Areas include Bell/Door Staff, Switchboard and Guest Services/Front Desk. Strives to ensure guest and employee satisfaction and assists with all problems making sure that all issues are followed up. Assists management in training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Acts as the hotels duty manager where required.
