Desired profile

Qualifications :

The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager will work a minimum of 40 hours per week, working 5 shifts over 7, to include weekends and bank holidays. Hours of work vary.

Rate of Pay is £9.50 per hour plus service charge and gratuities [shared out by the Tronc process]

Areas of responsibility include Restaurants, Bars and Room Service. Supervises daily restaurant and bar operations and assists with menu planning, maintains sanitation standards and assists servers and hosts on the floor during peak meal periods. Strives to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance in areas of responsibility. Determines training needed to accomplish goals, then implements plan. Position assists with menu planning, maintains sanitation standards, assists servers and hosts on the floor during peak meal periods and supervises Restaurants, Bars and Room Service Departments. Responsibilities include ensuring guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget. Accountable to ensure standards and legal obligations are followed. Ensure restaurant, bar and room service duties are carried out, including during the absence of Food & Beverage Services Manager. Supports F&B Services manager with tasks which to ensure smooth functioning of department. Acknowledge and take ownership of guest and employee concerns within all aspects of sales, human resources, finance and operations.
