JOB SUMMARY
Contract Compliance team supports the Continent in operating within a framework and utilizing tools that provide the assurance to follow the financial provisions of contractual arrangements and billing configuration. The position partners with internal departments to establish and sustain a global governance framework (policies, processes, and procedures) to ensure it is executed by accountable parties.
The position will report to Contract Compliance manager within Finance Department. The analyst holding this position will work collaboratively with internal business customers and third parties, as needed.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education and Experience
Required
· Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or business administration
· 3 years of experience in audit, accounting, and reporting analysis are required.
· Knowledge with QuickBase and PowerBI
Preferred
· Experience in contract management, and process improvements design and implementation is a plus.
· Professional qualification such as HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent qualification is a plus.
· Knowledge in internal control concepts and practical applications.
CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
· Responsible to enter hotel agreements financial provisions timely and accurately in the contract engine depositary and update amendments, as needed.
· Coordinate with hotel finance team closely to ensure their understanding on the contract terms on reporting, approvals, and billing requirements for hotel’s opening preparation.
· Act as key coordinator on various contract compliance processes that carried out periodically to analyze and flag any issues and prepare recommendation reports to manager.
· Support manager to validate contract clauses for the global contract engine certification and billing configuration.
· Liaise with global billing team to set up upcoming hotel openings profile within billing system timely, accurately and in accordance with hotel agreements.
· Able to identify atypical clauses and incorporate it into contract applications efficiently and effectively.
· Support the Continent in optimizing the AR delinquency by identifying areas of improvement on billing disputes with the support of contract terms to facilitate collection process.
· Prepare monthly AR reconciliation, including AR write off and bad debt provision.
· Provide weekly report and AR status update.
