Responsible to perform Accounts Receivable cash application activities.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

· 
Experience in the Hospitality industry, in finance department is recommended

· 
Organizational and administrative skills are essentials

· 
Working knowledge of Opera PMS will be advantageous

· 
Knowledge of Microsoft packages

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

Managing Work, Projects, and Policies

· 
Process and match customer payments​

· 
Follow up with customers regarding payment allocation / application

· 
Document and request customer refunds

· 
Process payment related small Item adjustments in line with company policies​

· 
Process and apply credit card payments in line with SLAs and SOPs

· 
Follow up on credit card reconciliation discrepancies with merchant service

· 
Complies with Local laws applying to fraud and collection procedures.

· 
Generates and provides accurate and timely results in the form of reports, presentations, etc.

· 
Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose the best solution and solve problems.

· 
Compiles, codes, categorizes, calculates, tabulates, audits, or verifies information or data.

Maintaining Finance and Accounting Goals

· 
Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.

· 
Submits reports in a timely manner, ensuring delivery deadlines.

· 
Completes period end function each period.

Demonstrating and Applying Accounting Knowledge

· 
Demonstrates knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes.

Demonstrates knowledge of return check procedures and credit card charge back.

Demonstrates knowledge and proficiency with write off procedures.
