The Inventory Control & Quality Assurance (ICQA) team at Marks & Spencer are responsible for managing the day to day quality, accuracy and availability of the inventory held onsite to ensure that it is in the right location, defect free and available for customers to order.
We now have an excellent opportunity for a data-driven analyst to join our team. Key responsibilities of the role will include:
· Review MI data and compile reports, highlighting KPI performance, risks and issues
· Investigate, interrogate and analyse data to identify defect trends to support project and business activity
· Produce directive outputs for all data sets and communicate to relevant stakeholders
· Work with ICQA Managers to drive the focus areas for action plans to resolve issues, focused on permanent corrective action
· Support development of ICQA procedures, documentation and document control using new ways of working that drive the ICQA agenda
· Support ICQA and site wide projects and workstreams, working collaboratively with the relevant stakeholders to provide accurate statistical analysis
· Development of meaningful dashboards measuring key performance, identifying defects and inaccuracies, whilst maintaining a consistent validated approach
· Provide management with a visible means to monitor and control accuracy and availability across the site through regular updates, schedules and dashboards
· Contribute towards the delivery of an efficient ICQA function
To succeed in this role you should ideally have experience in the analysis of defect / trend data and defect reduction planning alongside strong analytical, mathematical and data analysis capability. If you have experience of WMS systems along with experience of warehouse planning, inventory processes and an understanding of quality standards then even better!
You should have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel. You should also be a natural organiser with an excellent eye for detail. The ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels is key.
Please note that although these skills are desirable full training will be provided to the successful candidate in the technical areas associated with this role.
The successful candidate for this role will need to be flexible, as although this vacancy is initially on days working Monday – Friday, there may be occasions where hours will need to flex slightly to be able to see stakeholders from other shift patterns.
