React.js Mobile App Developer In Socially-Motivated Tech Startup

Job description

Makerble is a tech startup making a positive impact. Our technology empowers charities, companies and individuals to track the impact of the things they do to make the world a better place. We have a powerful web platform which people love using. What we need now is a mobile app.

You will be working with our developers to create a react.js mobile app which is cross-platform and works on both IOS and Android. You will be using our API to extract information from and write information to our web server.

Working on this app will give you experience of working with

- Local storage on the device
- Camera
- Geolocation services
- Social media

You will be based in our Stockwell office but will be able to work from home when you need to.

This is a volunteering role where we can cover travel expenses within London.

Desired profile

You have studied development or computer science. Alternatively you have taught yourself coding.

You have examples of apps or small products you have built by yourself or with others

You are a self starter and problem solver
