Job description

Makerble partners with charities globally to help them improve their impact. Our unique online platform (www.makerble.com) enables staff on the ground within charities to log the progress they are making on every campaign and project they work on. Meanwhile in the UK or wherever donors live, people get real-time updates on the progress being achieved by the projects they donate to, again through Makerble.

Your role as Brand Management Intern is to help make Makerble famous. This role is focused on Marketing, PR and Growth. Your responsibilities will include:

- social media marketing
- generating content for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn which engages potential charity partners as well as donors who may want to donate to those charities
- identifying influencers including YouTubers and Instagrammers whom you can persuade to do something to promote a charitable project from a cause they love
- reviewing the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns by using tools like Twitter Analytics
- working with the Partnerships team to identify trends that can be used in the campaigns you create

You will be working closely with one of the founders of Makerble and will have the opportunity to propose your own ideas.

Desired profile

You are someone who:
- is happy to generate new ideas
- is willing to adapt their ideas in line with feedback
- is not a perfectionist. In our experience, ideas are best when they are released in their early form and then iterated upon
- has excellent written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- is organised
- is able to take on feedback, adapt your approach and monitor your own progress
- is a self-starter: is able to spot problems, propose solutions and proactively communicate with your manager and colleagues rather than needing to be constantly chased
- is able to delegate tasks to other people in an inspiring respectful way and monitor their progress of those tasks so that they are completed in time
- is able to build rapport with new people quickly
- is able to be analytical and thorough
- is willing to learn the basic principles of Impact Measurement and Impact Management (we will teach you these while you are in post)
- is willing to understand how to use new apps

This role is expenses paid only. We can only cover reasonable travel expenses within London

If you are interested in this role, send us a paragraph outlining what you like about Makerble AND the skills/experience/passion you have that makes you the right person for this role.

Make every future a success.
