This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a very innovative online business that is continuously evolving. You would be, depending on the tasks, directly working with the founders of the business. MadBid.com is looking for a highly motivated, organised and energetic individual who is very reliable. You should have a genuine passion in organising things. You also should be a fast learner and enjoy routine. To join our company you should have a strong analytical capability and a great attention to detail. Accounting and/or finance should be part of your degree and if you are already familiar with concepts such as financial statements, bookkeeping and VAT it will be of advantage.

Accounting and Finance Intern for our London Office
This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and strong Internet company in Central London. We are based in Pimlico, a short walk away from Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and Tate Britain. You will assist the CFO and the accountants of the business in diverse tasks that will improve your professional skills, technical skills and organisational capabilities. The finance team is responsible for all the day to day transactional accounting for the business, which includes the tracking of all transactions and the management of any government reporting (e.g. tax and VAT) across all the 15 countries where we operate.

Desired profile

Key requirements:

• Must have an energetic hands on attitude and keen interest in working with an online start-up
• Burning desire to learn about accounting and finance
• Very capable to work independently and not afraid of taking responsibility
• Positive attitude and great energy
• Good communication skills, fluency in English (written and spoken). Additional languages are a plus.
• Great organisational skills and the ability to multi-task

The role is remunerated with £800 expenses paid per month and can potentially lead into a full time position.
