Our Head Office is based in the historic market town of Leominster, in the heart of rural Herefordshire, on the border of England and Wales.

The Role:

We are looking to recruit a temporary Payroll/HR Administrator to join our HR team. The primary focus of this role is to provide payroll and administration support to the HR team throughout our peak trading period.

Main duties will include:

  • Provide assistance in the completion of weekly payroll
  • Processing and inputting all payroll related new starter information
  • Assist in the distribution of weekly payslips
  • Assist in preparation of leavers P45's
  • Providing cover for payroll, as required
  • Assisting with the administration of all temporary starters and leavers
  • Responding to temporary job vacancy applications
  • Booking in interview candidates
  • Assisting at the Christmas recruitment open days
  • Providing support during the inductions of new temporary starters
  • Monitoring and chasing outstanding forms, statements and statement amendments
  • Filing and archiving of all general HR and payroll correspondence.


Skills and knowledge required:

  • Highly confidential
  • Flexible approach
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Previous administration experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, in particular Excel and Word
  • Good communication skills - verbal and written
  • Excellent numeracy skills.


Location and hours:

This is a temporary position, working Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.30pm and will work from either Leominster or Moreton-on-lugg as and when required.
