Client Reception Officer (GR45/NMD/CKP/43)

Lyons Davidson is a national law practice of around 1,000 employees operating from offices in Bristol, Solihull, Leeds, Surrey, Plymouth, Cardiff and London, and our associated practice in Edinburgh, Lyons Davidson Scotland LLP. We also have employees based in onsite client offices in Birmingham and Whitstable.

Purpose:

We are looking for a number of customer focused individuals to join our expanding Client Reception Team based in our New Malden Office.

The team's role is to be the first point of contact for our new clients to establish their needs in relation to their claim and inform them of legal processes.

Duties/Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the role are to provide great client service by contacting new clients as soon as possible, gathering information required to assess their claim and assisting with their immediate needs. The role extends to a number of legal disciplines including civil litigation, personal injury and will requirements.

Skills/Competencies required:

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and people skills, be diplomatic and empathetic; and confident with an excellent telephone manner. You must also be able to work to deadlines. Ideally you should be IT literate and have a law degree or equivalent, however this is not essential.

Practical experience in a client care environment would be beneficial but full training will be provided.

You will work a 35 hour week between Monday and Sunday. Shift availability ranges from starting at 8am to finishing at 9pm. Working hours at weekends would be 9am-4pm Saturdays and 10am - 4pm Sundays. Times and shift availability to be discussed at interview.
